This event is free and open to the public
Lolo based artist Adrian Arleo will give a lecture on her artistic practice.
For nearly thirty years, Arleo has focused her work on the human figure, often combining it with animal imagery, and other elements of the natural world. Her work is featured in the current The Figure in Montana exhibit at the Clay Studio (through June 28).
If the copious amounts of fresh local produce available at the summer markets aren’t reason enough for you make it to the numerous outdoor events in Missoula, the Clay Studio’s booth definitely provides ample reason to do so! The Clay Studio artists offer free clay activities and/or demonstrations on the potter’s wheel at our event booths, allowing many first timers, young and old, to take a turn on the wheel or experiment with clay projects.
