Woodfire Invitational

From May 25-June 1, over 30 artists will be coming to Missoula and working together in an invitational wood firing, organized by Woodfire Resident Perry Haas. As the kiln is fired and cooling, many of these artists will be giving demonstration-based workshops. This is a fabulous opportunity to learn from both established and emerging talent. An exhibit of their work will open in our gallery on Friday, June 7.

Market and Summer Event Booths: Occassional Saturdays and Sundays (May - October)

If the copious amounts of fresh local produce available at the summer markets aren’t reason enough for you to make a Saturday morning visit to the market this summer, the Clay Studio’s booth definitely provides ample reason to do so! The Clay Studio artists offer free demonstrations on the potter’s wheel at our market booths, allowing many first timers, young and old, to take a turn on the wheel. Although we cannot sell items at the market we always have a sampling of the beautiful works available for purchase back at the studio’s gallery. The market season ends in October so don’t wait too long to come visit us!

We will be participating in the following Summer events:

MADE Fair (pending): Sunday, June 30, 10am-5pm, Caras Park

Northside/Westside Block Party: In front of the Zootown Arts Center! Saturday, July 20, noon-9pm

The Clark Fork market: Saturdays from 8am-1pm under the Higgins Street Bridge. Stay tuned for pending dates we may be there!
