Booking a private event with the Clay Studio of Missoula requires agreement to the following terms:

1. A $50 deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve the chosen availability on the calendar. Time slots can be booked over for other private events, open studio, or class use until the deposit is paid. If the deposit is not paid within a week of booking, and no special arrangements have been made with office staff, the placeholder for your event will be dropped.
    

2. The full fee for the workshop is due one full work week before the event. Failure to complete payment by this time will result in cancellation of booking unless contact has been made with studio staff about extenuating circumstances.
    

3. By booking, it is agreed that all attendees waive the Clay Studio's liability for any inherent risks of working with clay in a clay studio environment. Digital general liability release can be signed HERE.
    

4. The Clay Studio of Missoula is not responsible for any extra trimming, smoothing, or other refining of projects created.
    

5. Kiln technicians can refuse to fire work from private events if it is deemed unsafe to do so.
    

6. The Clay Studio is not responsible for works that crack or break in any way during the drying or firing processes, or for surface defects in glazes. These are inherent risks of the process.
    

7. Cancellations one full week in advance or more may reschedule or be refunded, minus a $10 processing fee.
    

8. Cancellations made less than a week in advance of a class will not be refunded for any tuition payments made. No-shows will not be refunded.
    

9. If the Clay Studio of Missoula is forced to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances on our behalf, a full refund will be issued.
    

10. Please provide a head-count of students prior to the class date as accurately as you can, for prep purposes.
