Classes are typically taught by our Artists in Residence, and sometimes by artists from the Missoula community.

Summer 1 | Ritual Object | Sculpture Studio | MON
MON | 6/15-7/13 + Access to 7/28 | 6-9PM
$300 members / $310 nonmembers
5 Instructed + 2 Access Weeks
Discover personally meaningful ceramic work through a creative exploration of ritual! From a meal with family to more abstract and spiritual habits, this makes an excellent starting point for sculpture or pottery.

Short or One-Day Sessions
Interested in clay and ceramics, but don't have time to commit to a full weekly class? Our short format sessions may be a good option for you! These sessions are usually a single day, with longer ones available periodically.
For Family Clay Night, adults can accompany a child 5-15 years old to participate in a clay activity together.
Persons aged 16 years or older may enroll in adult workshops independently with parent permission.
Visiting Artist Workshops give students a chance to learn new advanced techniques and ideas from special guest artists visiting The Clay Studio of Missoula. You can see these special opportunities at the visiting artist page.

Accessibility Scholarship Program
Limited resources are available to provide partial scholarships to adults in need of financial assistance wishing to take our repeating class opportunities. If you would like to be considered for a partial scholarship, email fire@theclaystudioofmissoula.org to request application materials.
Please note, scholarships will become unavailable once reserved funds are used. To help this program continue to offer financial assistance to those in our community, consider making a targeted donation!
