The Clay Studio of Missoula (CSoM) seeks a creative and organized individual to manage and develop our Education & Outreach programming. The individual will work to advance CSoM educational programs, engage the regional community, and partner with local businesses and organizations.

The Education & Outreach Coordinator is a leadership role, guiding all new and existing youth, family & community education programs, including year-round classes, summer camps, and educational outreach. This position is responsible for all aspects of coordinating youth and family programming, including building the systems and support required to ensure the programs’ continued growth and success.

CSoM is committed to making itself accessible to community members that have historically been underrepresented based on race/ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender, socioeconomic status, citizenship status, or religious belief. The Education & Outreach Coordinator must champion that accessibility by further developing collaborative relationships with regional education and service organizations, and by pursuing funding for student scholarships and new outreach programs through grant writing as well as community fundraising.

The Education & Outreach Coordinator position requires excellent written and oral communication skills and strong attention to detail. The qualified candidate will be flexible, positive, and able to effectively contribute to the growth of CSoM’s impact in the community.

The Education & Outreach Coordinator position is a permanent, full-time, exempt position, that reports to the Executive Director. The Education & Outreach Coordinator may be required to work outside of the normal workday and/or on weekends as needed. The Education & Outreach Coordinator supervises Education & Outreach instructors, interns, and volunteers.
